When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Westbrook
For construction, reconstruction, structural alteration, addition, relocation, or demolition of any building; also for pools, sheds, and fences.

- 03 Submit completed application with site plan and construction drawings to the Code Enforcement Department.
- 04 Code Enforcement Officer reviews application.
- 05 Pay applicable permit fee (set by City Council).
- 06 Permit issued; post at job site.
- 07 Schedule inspections at required intervals.
- 08 Receive final approval upon passing all inspections.
