Terms of service

By accessing Jaspector, you agree to use the site for personal or internal business reference. You may copy, share, and quote individual entries with attribution. You may not bulk-scrape, redistribute the database wholesale, or use the index to train competing AI products without a license.

Account use

One account per person. You're responsible for activity on your account. Pro and Team subscriptions are non-transferable; sharing a single seat across multiple users may result in suspension.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt service, probe for vulnerabilities, or use automated tools to extract content beyond the rate limits in our public API documentation.

Privacy policy

We collect what we need to operate the service: account email, billing details (handled by Stripe), and aggregate analytics. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

What we store

Email, name, subscription status, billing history, and your saved bookmarks. You can export and delete all of it from your account settings.

What we don't

No advertising trackers. No social-network pixels. We use privacy-respecting analytics that are aggregated and cookie-free.

Refund policy

14-day no-questions-asked refund on any new subscription. Email hi@jaspector.com; we process within 3 business days. After 14 days you can cancel renewal; refunds for prorated periods are at our discretion.

Jaspector publishes educational reference content. Nothing on the site is professional engineering, architectural, contractor, or legal advice. Code interpretations are not binding; the authority having jurisdiction over your project always wins.

Accuracy

Every page lists its last-reviewed date and source. We correct verified errors within 48 hours. We do not guarantee that every fee, rule, or process described is current at the moment you read it.

DMCA & takedowns

Send takedown requests to hi@jaspector.com with the URL, the work alleged to be infringed, and a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury. We act on valid notices within 5 business days.
