Permit triggers and exempt work for Long Island

Application process
Application → plan check → issuance → inspection → final
- 01 Email CEO Jim Allaire at ceo@townoflongisland.us or contact Town Clerk at clerk@longislandmaine.org to request permit application and determine requirements.
- 02 Download appropriate application from townoflongisland.us/wp/?page_id=840.
- 03 Complete application with required documents.
- 04 Submit application to Town Hall on Fridays 8:30 am to 11:45 am or by appointment (contact Town Clerk to arrange).
- 05 CEO reviews application.
- 06 Pay applicable permit fee.
- 07 Permit issued; post at job site.
- 08 Schedule inspections with CEO.
- 09 Final inspection and close-out.
