Application Process

  1. Review Thornton Zoning Ordinance (townofthornton.org/planning-department/pages/zoning-ordinance-regulations-planning-zoning).
  2. Stake out the proposed structure(s) location on the construction site. Mark the two nearest boundary lines clearly.
  3. For Commercial Development, Multi-family Dwellings, and Home Occupations: submit application to Planning Board for review and approval first.
