When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Bristol
Any new construction (including modular and mobile homes), change of use, additions or alterations (including interior renovations and flooring changes), decks, dormers, demolition or relocation of any structure, installation of detached structures (sheds, barns, garages, docks, signs, swimming pools, chicken coops), fences over six feet tall, and any renovation or relocation with a cost of $15,000 or more in materials.
