When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Grove City
New construction, alterations, demolition, pools/spas, and signs. Permits required for both residential and commercial work.
Note: Portions of Residential Code of Ohio R105.2 sections (1), (2), (5), and (7) are locally excepted, meaning some state exemptions may not apply in Grove City. Above-ground pools do not require a building permit but may require zoning compliance.

- 10 Obtain Certificate of Occupancy where required
