Application process

- 01 Contact the Town Administrator or Zoning Administrator at 802-827-3261 to determine permit requirements.
- 02 Obtain the Fairfield Zoning Permit Application Form from the town office at 25 North Road or by contacting townadmin@fairfieldvermont.us.
- 03 Applications must be submitted by the landowner or an authorized agent directly to the Zoning Administrator.
- 04 Complete the application with required site plan, building plans, and project description.
- 05 Submit completed application with applicable fees.
- 06 Zoning Administrator reviews for compliance with the Fairfield Land Use and Development Regulations (2020 edition).
- 07 If DRB review is required, applicant is scheduled for a hearing.

- 10 Schedule inspections and obtain Certificate of Compliance.
