When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Bolivar
Any extension, construction, sub-construction, enlargement, or removal of any building or structure. Permanent outbuildings/accessory structures (100+ square feet). Carports. Demolition of structures (100+ square feet). Change of use permits.

- For residential projects $5,000+: WVCLB license required. For commercial projects $25,000+: WVCLB license required. For electrical work $1,000+: WVCLB license required.
