When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Doylestown
Borough forms exist for residential building, commercial building, grading, fence, sidewalk/driveway, roofing/window replacement, siding, pools, fire suppression, road opening, tree removal, plumbing/water, and use and occupancy.
Note: No separate Borough exempt-work handout was located in the reviewed sources. Because Doylestown publishes permit forms for roofing, windows, siding, fences, pools, sheds, and similar common work, do not assume those are exempt here. Follow PA UCC exemptions only where the Borough has not imposed a local zoning or right-of-way permit.
