When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Bristol Borough
Building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire, street/sidewalk opening, sign, structures, pools, shade tree, rental/U and O, and business inspection forms are all published by the Borough.
Note: No separate local exempt-work list was located in the reviewed Bristol Borough sources. Bristol publishes permit guidance for many common residential projects, so common work items should be checked against Borough forms before assuming exemption. PA UCC exemptions may apply only where Borough zoning, U and O, or right-of-way permits are not separately triggered.
