When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Perryville
A Zoning Certificate is required prior to site work or improvements. Any modification, interior or exterior, requires submittal. Categories include: interior/exterior renovation, addition, shed, garage, deck or porch, fence, patio or sidewalk, driveway, swimming pool, demolition, change of use, and signage. All construction modifications including electrical and plumbing also require a county building permit.
Note: No formal Town exemption list identified in public materials. In-kind minor repairs and maintenance may be exempt under adopted codes; verify with Planning and Zoning Coordinator before starting any project.
