When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Brooks
Any home modification changing the footprint by 400 square feet or more (Building Notification Ordinance). Shoreland zoning compliance required. Subdivision ordinance applies to lot divisions. Separate plumbing and septic permits required.

- 03 For subdivisions, complete subdivision application per the 2007 Subdivision Ordinance.
- 04 Download Building Notification Form from town website.
- 05 Submit to CEO at town office.
- 06 Pay applicable fee.
- 07 Permit issued.
- 08 Schedule inspections with CEO.
