Permit triggers and exempt work for Jay

- 01 Shoreland Zone and Floodplain: A permit is required from the Code Enforcement Office before beginning any work, including filling, earth-moving, building, or any development activity. Contact the CEO before beginning any project if the property is near a waterbody, pond, river, brook, or wetland.
- 02 General construction outside protected zones: No building permit required as of the 2012 vote. Property owners should confirm project scope with the CEO.
- 03 Plumbing: Internal plumbing permits required; contact Rick Haas.
- 04 Septic: Subsurface wastewater permits through Maine DHHS-SWP.
