When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Riverbank
Examples include patio or gazebo work, chimneys, garages, HVAC, electrical and plumbing changes, room additions, dormers, roofs, porches, retaining repairs, and any structure change affecting building structure. Tool or storage sheds generally require permits if larger than 120 square feet.

- Certificates and clearances from planning, fire, health, and school agencies as required
- Certificate of Liability, CG 20 10 naming City of Riverbank as additional insured

- 2025 California Building Standards Code (Title 24) for projects initiated in 2026.
