- Contact CEO Bill Butler at (207) 446-6541 or ceo.alna.me@gmail.com to determine what permits are required.
- Obtain building permit application from Town Clerk or town website.
- Complete and submit application with required documents; the Building Inspector/CEO has authority to issue permits and may access any lot or building under construction to enforce the Building Code Ordinance.
- Note: Permits will not be issued for any structure or work of less than 200 square feet, but the structure must still comply with all other ordinance provisions.
- Pay permit fee per fee schedule established by the Board of Selectmen (not fixed in ordinance text; contact CEO).
- Permit issued; post at job site.
- Schedule required inspections.
