When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Longboat Key
Certain types of work must be permitted under Town Code Chapter 150, Buildings, Section 150.30, Building Permit Required.
Note: A list of exemptions from permitting for minor work is found in Section 150.30(D) of the town code. Note that "minor work" may still require a building permit if it is part of a larger project, and it may at least require a tracking permit if the building is FEMA non-compliant or the work is below base flood elevation.
