Application Process

  1. Determine whether a permit is required under the Vershire Development Ordinance. Contact the Town Office at 802-685-2227.
  2. Download permit application forms from https://vershirevt.org/documents/ or pick up at the Town Office.
  3. Complete the application; include a site plan or sketch showing property boundaries, the location of the proposed work, and relevant setbacks.
  4. Submit the completed application to the Town Office with applicable fees.
  5. The Zoning Administrator reviews the application; final boundary determinations must be obtained from the Zoning Administrator.
  6. Upon approval, permit is issued. Post on property before commencing work.
