Application Process

- Upon issuance, applicant posts the permit notice near public right-of-way for 15 days.
- Permit becomes effective after 15-day appeal period with no appeal.
- Commence construction only after permit is effective and any required state permits are obtained.
- Upon completion, apply for and obtain a Certificate of Occupancy before using or occupying the development.
Typical processing time: 30 days maximum for ZA action on complete applications. DRB review adds additional time.
