When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Spring Garden Township
Building permits apply to UCC work requiring inspections, including additions, structural renovations, demolition, attached garages, fences over 6 feet, retaining walls over 4 feet, deck over 30 inches high, pools over 24 inches deep, doors/windows of different size or location, most electrical work, plumbing changes, HVAC replacement, commercial and industrial remodeling, business signs, and change of use/occupancy
Note: Spring Garden distinguishes between work needing a building permit and work still needing a zoning permit, so applicants should not assume 'no building permit' means 'no permit at all'
