Constructing or altering a structure, additions including decks, demolition or moving of structures, change of occupancy, regulated equipment installation or alteration, and lot line moves affecting existing structures.

Contractor requirements

Plumbers must be licensed in the Borough with annual registration; contractors must be registered with e-Collect Plus; electricians must show licensure from the community where licensed.

   Determine whether the proposed work requires a permit under the Borough's permit-required list.

   Register with e-Collect Plus if required and assemble insurance and application materials.

   Submit the Building/Zoning Permit Application or trade-specific form with supporting documents and fees.

   Schedule mandatory progress inspections with at least 24 hours notice.

   Complete final inspection and obtain occupancy approval where applicable.
