Contractor requirements

Bixby uses MyGov for all contractor licensing as well as permitting.

   Confirm project type through Development Services and gather the city requirements for the permit class.
2. 02
   Create a MyGov account. Bixby transitioned to MyGov for all permitting and contractor licensing effective January 9, 2024.
3. 03
   Upload the residential or commercial permit package. For residential permits, Bixby requires HVAC plan analysis, braced wall line drawings and calculations, site plan with easements and setbacks, full construction drawings, certificate of liability insurance, workers compensation insurance if applicable, and water service form.
4. 04
   Pay fees through the city's approved fee schedule.
5. 05
   Request inspections through the city's inspection request page/process.
6. 06
   Final inspection closes the permit.
