When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Morven
Morven's development ordinance includes Article 7 Permits and Procedures, and the town publishes local forms and a fee schedule. County building permits remain required for code-regulated construction work.
Note: Morven public pages reviewed did not publish a stand-alone exempt-work list. State permit exceptions may apply for limited work under N.C.G.S. 160D-1110(c). Because Morven has its own local development ordinance on top of county permitting, applicants should confirm both local and county exemption status before starting work.
