When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Princeton
A construction permit is required for all new construction, additions, alterations, repairs, demolition, and changes in occupancy.

- All contractors must be registered with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. Licensed trades must hold appropriate state licenses (34EB, 36BI, 19HC, etc.). Certificate of Occupancy required before occupancy.
