Permit triggers and exempt work for Hamilton Township
A construction permit is required for all construction, enlargement, repair, renovation, alteration, reconstruction, demolition, or change of use.

- All contractors must be registered with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. Licensed trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection) require state licenses (34EB, 36BI, 19HC, etc.).
