When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Warner
Interior renovations, additions of any size, enlarging existing structures, creating new rooms or spaces, structural changes or repairs, dormers, demolitions, new or replacement structures including sheds, pools, decks, garages, carports, changes in use or occupancy, expansion or changes to electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or fire protection systems.

- 01 Contact Building Inspector Scott Lacroix at (603) 456-2298 ext. 3 to discuss project.
- 02 Download Building Permit Application from https://warnernh.gov/tow/downloads/selectmen/BuildingPermit.pdf.
- 03 Complete application; attach required documents.
- 04 Submit in person at 5 East Main Street or by mail.
- 05 Pay applicable fee per fee schedule.
- 06 Permit issued.
- 07 Schedule inspections at least two days in advance: contact Building Inspector at (603) 456-2298 ext. 3.
- 08 Obtain hardwired smoke detectors before occupancy.
- 09 Final inspection; Certificate of Occupancy issued.
