Permit triggers and exempt work for Everglades
A permit is required to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert, or replace regulated electrical, gas, mechanical, or plumbing systems, per FBC Section 105.1 and local land-use and floodplain ordinances.
Note: All work must comply with Florida Building Code Section 105.1, local City of Everglades ordinances, and Collier County floodplain requirements. Confirm permit requirements with Collier County Building Plan Review Division before proceeding.
