Permit triggers and exempt work for Farmington

Application → plan check → issuance → inspection → final
- 01 Determine permit type (building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sign, demolition, certificate of occupancy).
- 02 Download or obtain the appropriate application from cityoffarmington-ar.gov/permit-application.
- 03 Submit application online or in person at 354 W Main during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM).
- 04 Pay applicable fees per fee schedule.
- 05 Await plan review and approval from Building Official Rick Bramall.
- 06 Permit is issued; post on job site.
- 07 Schedule and complete required inspections.
- 08 Obtain certificate of occupancy upon successful final inspection.
