When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Fredonia

No building or structure regulated by town code and the adopted building codes may be erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted, or demolished without first obtaining a permit from the building official.
Note: The town's building permit packet refers generally to adopted building codes, but the town's posted code library still shows older code adoptions. Applicants should verify the current code editions directly with the town building official before beginning design work.
