When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Weirton
No construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, remodeling, or moving of any building structure shall be undertaken prior to permit issuance. Residential work requiring permits includes decks, porches, patios, garages, fences, retaining walls, fireplaces, water heaters.
