  4. Submit the application in person or by mail to the Town Clerk's Office at 102 Vance Hill Road, Newport Center, VT 05857 during office hours.
  5. The Zoning Administrator reviews the application; permitted uses are approved administratively.
  6. Conditional uses or variances go to the Zoning Board.
  7. If the project involves a public building, obtain a DFS state construction permit separately.
  8. If the project involves a wastewater system or well, obtain the required DEC permit.
