When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Alvarado

- 04 For permits obtained before February 1, 2026: contact Community Development for submission procedures.
- 05 City staff reviews application for code compliance and technical completeness.
- 06 Pay any applicable fees upon approval.
- 07 Obtain permit authorization before construction begins.
- 08 Schedule inspections through MGOConnect (for permits after Feb 1, 2026) or by phone.
