When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for McGregor

- 01 Obtain the relevant Community Development form from the city forms page. The city posts a general community-development application and a permit application.
- 02 Complete the application fully. Incomplete applications will not be processed or will be rejected.
- 03 Submit plans and project documents with the application including residential and commercial plan sets, site plans, civil plans where applicable, and project details.
- 04 Email permit applications and inspection requests to inspections@mcgregor-texas.com.
- 05 Confirm city registration status if you are a contractor. A registration fee applies if the contractor is not currently registered or the registration is expired.
- 06 After review and issuance, coordinate inspections through the city.
- 07 Obtain the certificate of occupancy where applicable.
