When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Susquehanna Township
Township publishes separate applications for building/zoning, electrical, floodplain, grading, plumbing, stormwater management, street cut, zoning, and demolition work.
Note: Susquehanna Township does not publish a stand-alone exempt-work list on the main permit page. The public page instead lists permit application types and directs applicants to contact Community Development with questions. Applicants should verify ordinary repair exemptions directly with the township.

- Commercial plan sets submitted electronically to MDIA
- Workers compensation certificate of exemption where applicable
- Deck plan submittal document
- Stormwater O and M agreement and other supplemental forms as required by scope
- Building code
