When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Lincoln City
Permits required for any work regulated under Oregon State Building Code (ORS Chapter 455) and all specialty codes. Permits also required for occupancy reclassifications, grading, signs, demolition, new parking lots, or regrading and parking lot resurfacing/striping.

- Valid for one year; becomes invalid if work does not commence within 180 days or is suspended/abandoned for 180+ days.
- Contractor requirements
- Work must comply with all state and local ordinances. Oregon CCB licensing required statewide.
