Permit triggers and exempt work for Eastlake
The city states it reviews plans and issues permits for all new construction, alterations of existing structures, and additions to buildings, plus plumbing and HVAC work.

- 02 Prepare application, site plan, and construction drawings required by the selected form.
- 03 Verify contractor registration status with the city.
- 04 Submit the application and pay base fees, clerical fee, state tax if applicable, and contractor deposit if applicable.
- 05 Receive plan review and permit issuance from the Building Department.
- 06 Call the department at least 24 hours in advance for required inspections and obtain final approval before occupancy or use.
