Permit triggers and exempt work for Logan
A permit is required for all new construction, additions, structural alterations, demolition, manufactured home placement, and trade work within the incorporated village. NM CID rules apply throughout Logan.

- 02 Obtain E-911 address assignment from Quay County GIS at (575) 461-1760 if the parcel does not have an assigned address.
- 03 If the project requires a new well or septic system, obtain required approvals from the NM Environment Department and/or Office of the State Engineer before applying.
- 04 Complete the appropriate NM CID Multipurpose Building Application (residential or commercial) from https://www.rld.nm.gov/construction-industries/forms-and-applications/
- 05 Prepare required construction documents (see General Requirements below).
- 06 Submit application, documents, and permit fee to the NM CID district office.
- 07 CID reviews plans; permit is issued upon approval.
- 08 Post permit on-site; schedule inspections through CID at (505) 222-9813 or 1-877-243-0979.
- 09 Complete all inspections; obtain Certificate of Occupancy from CID.
