Contractor requirements

   Determine whether the project needs a building permit, simple electrical permit, demolition permit, floodplain permit, certificate of use, or operational permit.

   Download and complete the applicable permit form from the village permits page.

   For business occupancy matters, complete fire inspection and certificate-of-use steps as required.

   Submit the application and supporting materials to Village Hall for review.

   Complete any Clay County building inspection or village fire inspection steps required for the project.

   Pay fees and obtain approval before starting work.
