Contractor requirements

Commercial permit forms ask whether the contractor has a City of Nixa business license and warn permit review will be delayed if the contractor has not applied.

   Complete the city PDF application and prepare the required site plan and full plan set; residential pages also direct applicants to the Building Guidelines document.

   Submit by email to planning@nixa.com or deliver to City Hall; portal options are also available through myNixa.

   City reviews planning and building materials and calculates permit/impact/plan review charges.

   Pay fees at permit approval.

   Schedule inspections by hotline or online with 24 hours notice.

   Proceed through required inspections to final approval.
