When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Spring Lake Park
The Code Enforcement Department enforces building, fire, property, rental, and zoning codes, and the Building Permits page publishes permit applications for decks, detached garages, window and door work, water heaters, signs, fences, sheds, and many other project types.
Note: The reviewed city page did not publish a consolidated exemption list. Applicants should use the project-specific permit handouts or ask the Building Official before assuming work is exempt.
