When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Youngsville
Residents need permits for construction permits including plumbing, electrical, concrete slabs, sheds, roofing, pools, and similar work. Site and building construction cannot begin until review is complete and a permit is issued.
Note: No consolidated exempt-work list was clearly posted on the reviewed Youngsville public permit pages. Because Youngsville expressly calls for permits on many common residential projects, minor-work exemptions should be confirmed with the city at (337) 857-6937 before proceeding.
