Permit triggers and exempt work for Liberty County
Liberty County publishes permit packets for a broad set of building and trade work in the unincorporated area, including single-family, mobile home, modular home, accessory, addition, renovation, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, sign, swimming pool, commercial, industrial, multifamily, and move permits. The UDO requires zoning approval before building permits.
