Permit triggers and exempt work for Ellijay
Building permits are required for new construction, additions, and other work as defined by the city Code Enforcement Department.

- 04 Submit the application and supporting materials to the city.
- 05 Coordinate inspections with Code Enforcement during construction.
- 06 Complete final inspection and any certificate of occupancy or city closeout steps required for occupancy or business licensing.
