When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Pasco County
Building permits are generally required for work constructing, enlarging, altering, repairing, moving, demolishing, changing occupancy, or installing, altering, or replacing regulated building systems.
- Exempt Sheds 150 square feet or less if DBPR approved and outside flood hazard areas

- Exempt Non-structural concrete flatwork under 500 square feet per parcel
