When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Noma
A building permit is required for all construction within the Town of Noma.

- Permits expire if 180 days pass without an approved inspection. One-time extension available for up to 90 additional days.
- Owner-builder
- Owner-builders must comply with Florida Statutes 489.103 limits.
- Contractor requirements
- Contractors must be licensed and registered as required by Florida law.
