Application process
Application → plan check → issuance → inspection → final
- 01 Submit a complete application and drawings to Building Division staff for plan review.
- 02 Simple work such as wood stoves, gas lines, new heating and cooling units, and most plumbing may require little or no plan package.
- 03 More complex work such as new buildings, remodels, and additions requires two complete sets of construction plans.
- 04 The Building Division and Planning Division review the submittal for completeness, zoning, setbacks, and code compliance.
- 05 Once approved, the county notifies the applicant that the permit is ready to issue and provides the fee amount.
- 06 Fees must be paid before permit issuance.
