General Requirements

Residential plan check starts at $74 up to $500 valuation and commercial plan check starts at $296 at $10,000 valuation, with tiered increases and hourly billing after the third review for revisions.
Permit fee formula
The citywide master fee schedule uses valuation-based step tables with a base fee up to published thresholds plus per-$1,000 add-on fees.
Reinspection fee
$111 for the first half hour, with additional quarter-hour increments at $147 and a minimum half-hour charge.
Payment note
Plan check fees are due before review, remaining permit fees are due at issuance, payment can be made via eTRAKiT or in person at City Hall, and wire transfers are not accepted.
