  1. Download the appropriate permit application from the Town website or pick up a form at Town Hall.
  2. Complete the application and attach required documents (site plan and/or zoning certificate required for new construction or exterior additions as a general rule).
  3. Submit the completed application and documents to Town Hall at 704 Fourth Street, or fax for mechanical, plumbing, and re-roofing permits.
  4. Staff reviews the application. Approval process may take 24 to 72 hours.
  5. Payment of fees is due either at submission or upon approval depending on permit type.
  6. Upon approval, permit is issued. Post the permit on-site.
  7. Schedule required inspections by calling (307) 234-6679 or emailing info@millswy.gov.
  8. Pass all required inspections and obtain certificate of occupancy when all inspections are complete.
