When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Dublin
Dublin does not publish a standalone local building-permit trigger list. Because Pulaski County is the permit issuer as of May 1, 2025, county permit categories and requirements govern. These include new construction, additions, and alterations, with separate applications for residential, commercial, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, gas, solar, manufactured home, and fire-suppression work.
Note: No Dublin-specific or county-specific exempt-work list was found for Dublin properties. Contact the Pulaski County Building Office at buildingdept@pulaskicounty.org or 540-980-7710 to confirm whether your project requires a permit before starting work.

- 04 Submit through Pulaski County's Citizen Self Service portal or by emailing buildingdept@pulaskicounty.org. All permit documentation is required at the time of submittal.
