- Include all required approvals (e.g., wastewater permit if applicable) and the applicable fee.
- Submit application to the Town Office in person or as directed by the ZA.
- The Zoning Administrator acts within 30 days of a complete application. If no action within 30 days, permit is deemed approved.
- Upon approval, post the permit notice visibly from the public right-of-way for 15 days (appeal period).
- Work may begin after the 15-day appeal period expires.
- Upon project completion, apply for Certificate of Compliance/Occupancy.
Typical processing time: Up to 30 days per state law; permit deemed approved if no action on day 31.
