When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Roosevelt

Application process
Application → plan check → issuance → inspection → final
- 01 Confirm the property is within Roosevelt City limits.

- 03 Download the applicable permit application form from https://www.rooseveltcity.gov/245/Forms.
- 04 Complete the form and assemble required documents: plans, site plan, valuation, contractor information with Utah DOPL license numbers.
- 05 Email the completed permit application to Dean Johnson at djohnson@rooseveltcity.com, or deliver in person to 255 S State Street.
- 06 Await plan review. Respond to any correction requests.
- 07 Pay permit fees based on project valuation after review approval.
- 08 Receive the issued permit. Post it on the job site.
- 09 Schedule inspections with the Building Department, providing at least 24 hours advance notice.
